## User Challenges

Learners were frustrated by one-size-fits-all lessons, struggled with pacing, and lacked clear progress guidance. They wanted a tailored experience that adapts to their habits and keeps them motivated.

## Key Pain points

### Non-Adaptive Lessons

Standardized content didn’t match individual abilities, making learning less effective and slowing vocabulary retention for users with different skill levels.

### Pace Control Issues

Users couldn’t adjust lesson speed or difficulty, which led to disengagement and less frequent practice. Flexible pacing was needed to keep learners motivated.

### Unclear Progress Feedback

Without visible feedback, learners were unsure about how much they had improved or what to focus on next.

## Valuable Insights

We conducted user interviews and testing sessions to understand learning habits and pain points. Users struggled with pacing, content relevance, and motivation, highlighting areas for personalized intervention.

## Major Findings

A large portion of learners abandoned exercises that were too easy or too difficult, showing a clear need for lessons that adapt to individual skill levels.

### 65% of users wanted feedback

Many users lacked visibility into their improvement, leaving them uncertain about their achievements and next learning steps.
