Challenge

## Tackling user needs and performance demands

One of the main challenges in this project was to create an intuitive and attractive user interface that would satisfy a variety of user needs and preferences.  
  
This included developing a flexible filter system for travel searches, integrating with various maps and navigation services, and ensuring reliable and fast data synchronization with the server to share photos and experiences in real time. In addition, it was important to consider the usability of the app in different travel environments, including the availability of offline features.

Design Process

## Strategy

To address these challenges, we applied an iterative development process that included user requirements research, prototyping, testing, and optimization. We began by identifying key user scenarios and compiling a list of functional requirements. We then developed interface sketches and moved on to creating interactive prototypes.  
  
In general, our approach was focused on creating a user-friendly, adaptive and reliable application that makes it as easy as possible for users to plan and organize their trips.

## Timeline

The approach was iterative and we constantly improved various aspects of the application.

### 01 - Strategy

During this phase, we define project **goals, analyze the target audience**, and align business requirements with user needs. We also take closer look into main interactions and patterns to further avoid user experience issues. This phase set the overall vision and roadmap for app development.

### 02 - Discovery

We brainstormed, hosted deep user research, competitor analysis, and collected insights. We created user journeys, conducted interviews and prioritized ease of use and functionality of the product we designed.

### 03 - Solution

In the final phase, we developed **wireframes** based on **user flows**, designed **UI concepts**, and created interactive prototypes and a **design system**. We also tested and iterated based on feedback to deliver a polished and functional travel app.

Color palette and typography

## Mission reflected in the visuals

The color scheme we used is highly contrasting, making it easy to highlight details. The yellow brings energy, optimism, and attention to key interactive elements, while the black provides strong contrast and elegance, ensuring readability and a modern look.  
  
The typography is based on the Gilroy font with a friendly yet professional vibe. In addition to the color pallet, this font only further creates the sense of professionalism yet style. We took the lifestyle of travelers into account, so the sleek and drastic look allows to quickly pay attention to the details when a traveler is on the go.

## User Flow

The main emphasis was on an easy travel search process and seamless interaction with the app while traveling, ensuring users could quickly find relevant trips, access essential features on the go, and enjoy a stress-free experience regardless of their location or internet connection.

## Looking for best trip

The travel search functionality based on preferences allows users to find ideal tours and routes based on their hobbies and interests. The system analyzes the user's specified preferences, such as types of activities, geographic preferences, budget, and travel time, to suggest the most suitable options. Search results can be filtered and sorted by various parameters, making the selection process easier and helping users find the perfect travel experience that meets their expectations and needs.
