Strategic Plan

## Designing around clarity, action, and momentum

We aligned with the client’s vision by focusing on three core goals: real-time insights, simple navigation, and clear visual hierarchy.

> We built a focused data layer that surfaces only key metrics, so operators can act quickly and confidently in the field.
>
> — Stan D., CIO

> We simplified a fragmented workflow into a fluid experience by boosting session awareness and streamlining navigation.
>
> — Victoria P., Team Lead

> We introduced a performance-first strategy linking station metrics with live energy data to boost operational awareness.
>
> — Mari S., COO

User Discussions & Insights

## Pain points that shaped the product

These insights validated the need for integrated dashboards and spatial data visualization. We also discovered key bottlenecks in how EV operators managed sessions and interpreted energy trends.

## Key highlights from the interview

### 67% – Lack of real-time insights

Respondents lacked real-time station information – delays were frequent and costly. Many operators reported missed revenue due to delayed reactions during peak demand.

### 72% – Disconnected session metrics

Respondents found session metrics scattered across tools. This made it harder to analyze charging behavior or adjust pricing strategies quickly.

### 54% – Fragmented session data

Respondents found session metrics scattered across tools. This fragmentation made it difficult to track performance or identify usage patterns efficiently.

Problem & Solution

## Turning complexity into fast decisions

EV charging operators struggled with multiple data sources and inconsistent station visibility. Real-time updates were either missing or difficult to act on. Without a single source of truth, teams wasted time switching tools and manually aggregating metrics.

> We couldn’t see station status or energy data fast enough – it created serious delays and uncertainty in the field.
>
> — Jacob F., CFO, Zaptix

## Solutions

We unified scattered data into one screen to reduce delays and speed up action. With Zaptix - EV Charging CRM ui / ux, operational clarity improved, and teams could track metrics and take action instantly.

### 01 – Live insights

We created a map-first interface with real-time charging insights. This design makes geographic awareness part of every decision.

### 02 – Unified metrics

Energy and financial data are now unified under one dashboard. It simplifies reporting and supports faster, data-backed decisions.

### 03 – Smarter tracking

A new session summary screen improves visibility into charging history and patterns. Operators can now analyze usage trends in just a few taps.

Typography & Color

## Defining identity through visual clarity

We selected the **Outfit font** for its legibility across devices and consistency in visual rhythm. It allows users to focus on content and metrics without distraction. Our choice supports better UI balance and improves scanability in dashboard contexts. We tested multiple typefaces but prioritized clarity in low-light and high-speed decision-making environments. Clean type and a warm palette reflect clarity, trust, and modern identity, which are crucial for Zaptix - EV Charging CRM example.
