Service for IPC

Take a look at the result of our work for IPC in the form of a review.
IPC
Our main focus has been on developing an intuitive user interface that provides ease of interaction. Our approach has been deeply rooted in understanding the users’ needs, preferences, and behaviors. We prioritized simplicity and clarity in design, aiming for a clean and uncluttered layout that facilitates easy navigation and control.

About IPC
IPC is a smart security camera ecosystem built for home and remote monitoring. The product centers around solar and 4G cameras with low power consumption, remote access, and AI-driven event analysis, all managed through a single mobile application.
Main Goal
To design the complete UX architecture, user scenarios, and UI system for a mobile app managing smart security cameras, cloud storage, AI features, and device settings.

Building a System, Not Just Screens
The challenge was not a visual refresh. IPC needed a cohesive user ecosystem built around real hardware - the one that translated complex device behavior into a seamless, understandable experience for everyday users.
Specific Goals
UX Architecture & User Scenarios
The existing flows were incomplete and too vague for development handoff. We rebuilt the product's information architecture from the ground up, mapping every user journey across onboarding, Live View, Events, AI Summary, Cloud Storage, and device settings, resolving edge cases and SDK constraints at the design stage, before a single line of code was written.
Device Setup & Connection Flows
Solar and 4G cameras present unique setup challenges. We designed clear, user-friendly onboarding flows for QR code, Bluetooth, and AP Hotspot connection methods, making technically complex processes feel simple and guided.
AI & Cloud Features
We brought structure to AI Summary, AI Indexing, cloud subscription management, and the notification system, creating a transparent logic that connects hardware events to user-facing actions.
Multi-Camera & Sharing Scenarios
We covered the full scope: multi-camera dashboards, device sharing and access management, error states, and reconnection flows — ensuring the product could scale as users added more devices.

Rondesignlab ran a comprehensive UX research based on a moodboard. Based on it, they developed high-fidelity UI UX design and UI concepts, detailed user flow, UX architecture.
Complexity
The core challenge was bridging three layers at once: hardware constraints, SDK capabilities, and user experience. Cameras operate under limited battery, unstable networks, and varied connection types. Many flows that appear simple on the surface required sophisticated system logic beneath.
- ”
The project required us to think deeply about real-world constraints and translate all of that into something a mainstream user would find completely natural.

Final touches
Upon completion, we delivered fully organized Figma files including a complete UI kit, component library, style guide, and detailed interaction logic documentation - everything the development team needed to build with confidence.
The project was structured into focused sprints, each covering a distinct area of the product. Work was delivered on time with two standing check-in meetings per week.
