(1) What is Fishbowl?

The primary objective of this project was to address usability issues and improve user perception of our platform. We recognized that our existing system had several usability challenges, and users were not fully satisfied with their experience.

(2) Project Strategy

Our key mission was to identify and rectify these usability problems to make the platform more user-friendly and positively impact how users perceive and interact with our system.

We presented the project strategy to the client by outlining our objectives to improve usability and user perception. Our approach involved user-centered design, technical integration, usability testing, and ongoing support, all within a defined timeline and budget.

(3) Research

The fundamental research for the platform and its competitors involved a comprehensive review of existing literature and an in-depth analysis of similar systems in the market.

This research encompassed examining industry reports, academic studies, and user reviews to gain insights into industry trends, user expectations, and areas for improvement.

Additionally, we conducted hands-on testing of competitor platforms to assess their strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to inform our design decisions and enhance our platform’s competitive edge.

(4) Interviews

We also carried out in-depth interviews and surveys with potential end-users to understand their pain points and requirements. This research formed the basis for the project’s design decisions, ensuring that the CRM system would address essential user needs and industry standards.

After the interviews and research, we proceeded to analyze the gathered data and used the insights to inform the design and development process of the Fishbowl CRM system, ensuring that it would better align with user needs and expectations.

(5) Brainstorm

In the "Brainstorm" phase, we collaboratively generated, categorized, prioritized ideas, set specific objectives, created a detailed roadmap, and iteratively refined solutions for CRM system usability and user perception challenges.

From the Brainstorming sessions, we derived several key ideas, including a more intuitive user interface, improved navigation and personalization, and enhancements to reporting and analytics functionality for deeper insights into customer data and processes within the Fishbowl CRM system.

(6) Design App

We created a simple and intuitive user interface tailored for touchscreen and mobile devices, focusing on user-friendly navigation and trend design.

We prioritized responsive design for optimal display on various devices, maintained core functionalities while ensuring high performance, conducted extensive testing and debugging, ensured seamless integration with the main platform.

The process timeline is crucial for efficient project management, ensuring tasks are completed on time, enhancing overall efficiency and team coordination.

In the end, we witnessed the full fruition of our team’s efforts and saw the comprehensive results of our work.

The team’s efforts culminated in the successful development of a highly responsive and user-centric mobile version of the CRM system, offering seamless navigation, optimal performance, and compatibility with various devices, ultimately enhancing the user experience and enabling efficient access to CRM functionalities on the go.
