• During the user research phase, we gathered user feedback to identify challenges with the lck of personalized recommendations.

• 67% of users

  Were frustrated by searching multiple platforms for job openings. They wanted a single, organized feed showing all relevant listings to save time and effort. This showed ORION needed to provide a clear, filtered job feed.

• During the discovery phase of the ORION project, the team found that users struggled with fragmented job listings and unclear navigation. This made finding relevant jobs slow and frustrating, especially for first-time job seekers.

  To address this, the ORION - Job SaaS ui / ux team focused on creating a unified platform that organizes listings clearly and offers easy filtering. Personalized AI suggestions were added to improve relevance and boost user engagement. This approach helped increase retention and reduce churn by simplifying the job search process.

Logo Design

Behind the ORION logo design

• For the ORION - Job SaaS project, the design team developed a logo combining the letters “O” and “R” to reflect the brand name and its focus on connection. The symbol represents the link between users and job opportunities, aligning with ORION’s goal to simplify job searching.

  This clean, balanced design supports the ORION UX/UI by creating a recognizable visual identity that works well across different platforms. The logo helps strengthen brand recall and contributes to user trust and engagement throughout the job hunting experience.

Mobile app

• User research for the ORION - Job SaaS example showed that job seekers needed a mobile app that offers quick access to relevant listings and easy navigation. Many users found existing apps complicated and had trouble receiving timely updates, which lowered engagement and increased churn.

  To solve this, the ORION UX/UI team designed a mobile app with straightforward onboarding, personalized job alerts, and real-time updates. The clean interface reduces the time spent searching and helps users stay informed, improving satisfaction and retention throughout the job hunting process.

Typography and color

UI Typography and Color Scheme

• We created a consistent visual system to support usability across devices. We selected the Lufga font for headings and body text because it offers clear readability and a modern tone that fits the job hunting industry.

  The color palette uses yellow to highlight important actions and draw attention, black for strong text contrast, light grey for backgrounds and subtle elements, and white to maintain clean spaces. These colors help create a professional and approachable interface that guides users and improves focus.

Smooth and Bright Experience

• For the ORION project, we chose a flexible grid to create a balanced and organized layout. This approach ensures consistent spacing and alignment, improving clarity and making the design adaptable across devices.

Landing page

Comprehensive weather website

• The ORION UX/UI landing page was created to deliver essential information clearly while reinforcing the brand’s identity. The layout supports easy navigation, making it simple for users to explore key features like the automated ranking system, blog section, and service overview.

  This ORION example maintains visual consistency and a clean structure to improve user understanding and drive conversions. Featuring metrics such as 250k clients, the design helps build trust, increase engagement, and reduce bounce rates by highlighting benefits right away.

• We conducted a System Usability Scale (SUS) test to evaluate the platform’s usability and identify areas for improvement based on user feedback.

  Several respondents noted that filtering job listings was quick and intuitive. The clear filter options helped users narrow down results effectively, saving time and making the job search process smoother.

Branding

Modern Identity

• For the ORION app, we developed a clear brand system with documented guidelines for color, typography, and tone to ensure consistency across digital products and marketing.

  We applied this approach to social media campaigns for stronger engagement and to merchandise for cohesive physical branding. By unifying the landing page, app, and marketing materials under one strategy, the ORION project created a professional, recognizable, and scalable brand.

• The ORION app reached a strong SUS score of 84.5, highlighting its usability across key flows. User engagement also rose by 48%, showing that the platform successfully streamlined the job search process and delivered on user expectations.

• The next phase for the ORION app focuses on implementing the design into code with close collaboration between developers and the design team. Our plan is to provide ongoing design support to the CEO and development team to ensure the final product aligns with the vision and delivers a consistent, high-quality user experience.
