Mobile App Design
Services for iOS & Android
Product design for iOS and Android from a studio behind $120M+ in client product investment. Startups and enterprise teams go from first sketch to launch-ready screens with us.

Built to Be Opened Daily
Users decide in seconds whether an app stays on their phone. Clear screens win that moment. A consistent system wins the months after. We design both, for a first release or an enterprise mobile app design rollout.

Our Mobile App UX Design Process
Seven stages carry your app from brief to build. Research, strategy and testing come before pixel-perfect screens, so every visual decision rests on evidence. You review each stage and steer before the next begins.

Briefing
Every project opens with a discovery workshop. We map business goals, target users, technical limits and success metrics into one shared brief.
A moodboard follows and sets the visual direction for iOS and Android before design starts. You leave with a clear scope.
Strategy
Competitor analysis shows where rival apps fall short and where yours can lead. We benchmark features, onboarding and paywall screens against your category, then define positioning and a prioritized feature list. Your MVP ships with what users need first and nothing they don't.

Analytics
For a live product, a UX audit reviews funnels, heatmaps, store reviews and support tickets to locate every drop-off. For a new app, interviews and surveys lead the UX research. Findings become personas, jobs-to-be-done and a ranked list of problems the design must solve.

Wireframe
We start with information architecture UX: screen inventory, navigation model and content hierarchy. Grayscale wireframes then lay out each screen, so feedback targets structure, not color. Real users click through them, and confusing paths get fixed while changes cost hours, not sprints.

Concept
The mobile app concept turns approved wireframes into high-fidelity screens. Typography, color, icons and motion form a visual language that fits your brand and each platform's native patterns. Key screens arrive as alternative mobile concepts, and the chosen direction becomes a clean mobile app UI.

Flows
Final screens link into complete user flows: sign-up, onboarding, core tasks, payments, plus errors and empty states. The result is a Figma prototype that behaves like the real app. Stakeholders tap through it, usability tests run on it, and developers see how every transition should feel.

Next Steps
Developers receive a design system, annotated specs and every asset in the formats iOS and Android teams need. We review the build as it takes shape. After launch, analytics and feedback feed the next release, so your mobile app design workflow keeps improving the product.
Apps We've Built for Businesses
Jackson KingFounder of a Real Estate Agency
Our web product worked, but mobile visitors left within seconds. We needed an app that matched our brand, not a shrunken website. RDL designed a realtor app our agents now run their day from, and web and mobile finally feel like one product.

Penelope ReedCTO at an IoT Company
Two-thirds of our users control the device from a phone, and the app couldn't keep up. Settings were buried and ratings kept slipping. The redesign put daily controls on the home screen and made pairing simple. Customers now use the features we built.

Sebastian CarterCEO at an EdTech company
Our onboarding lost learners before the first lesson and drained our support budget. The team mapped every friction point and rebuilt the flow to show value first. New users reach their first lesson faster, and support handles real questions again.

Case Study/Article
This is a real mobile app redesign case. Vessel is a wellness app that helps users build healthy habits and track their health.
Vessel
Our key task was to reskin the Vessel creating WOW user experience. The redesigned Vessel has aligned with new brand guidelines, enhancing user experience through immersive animations and simplified interactions.

FAQ
How long does a mobile app design project take?
Timelines follow scope. Most projects reach developer-ready screens within a few weeks, with a progress review every week.
Do you design for both iOS and Android?
Yes, we work as a cross-platform app design team. We follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design. Your brand stays consistent while each app feels native to its device.
Can you redesign our existing app without losing users?
Yes. A UX audit and analytics review come first. Changes then roll out in stages, so loyal users keep the flows they know.
What deliverables do we receive at the end?
Clickable Figma prototypes, a scalable design system and developer-ready specs. Your engineers get what they need to build fast and stay consistent.
How do you make sure users love the app?
We test ideas early through user research and usability sessions. Each revision follows real feedback, not assumptions.
