Aqara is built to redefine smart living through a unified approach to home automation and device control. With a seamless interface and intelligent system design, it brings simplicity and efficiency to everyday routines, making connected living feel effortless.

Smart home ownership sits at a specific inflection point right now. Households have accumulated devices from four or five different brands, each with its own app, each demanding its own login and mental model. Users end up running a small IT operation from their phone just to turn off the living room lights. Aqara was designed to close that gap by treating multi-brand control as the product's founding purpose rather than a bolted-on feature.

The design work spanned the full Aqara smart home app rebuild, from device pairing workflows through the personalized dashboard into the granular device controls users touch daily. Every screen was pressure-tested against the actual texture of household routines, where a user might adjust three devices in ten seconds while cooking dinner.
