29% stronger brand recognition, 18% clearer communication. See how Lumos rebuilt clean energy for daily use:
About the project
The identity was extended into web and mobile interfaces to ensure a consistent look across all digital touchpoints. The UI design blends functionality with visual clarity, using the brand's core elements.
Solar ownership sits in a strange gap between industrial infrastructure and consumer product. The panels themselves belong to the utility scale of engineering, but the person checking on them at 7 AM with coffee wants the experience to feel closer to a smart thermostat than a control room. Lumos was designed for that exact split. The dashboard reads as approachable enough for daily use while carrying the data density solar owners actually need to make decisions about their system.
Every screen in the Lumos ecosystem answers a specific homeowner question. Am I generating enough right now. Am I earning what I expected this month. What did my system prevent from reaching the atmosphere. Current power, balance, earnings, and CO₂ savings all surface inside modular card layouts that respect a scrolling glance rather than a deliberate study session. A 3D home model anchors the abstract data to the physical property, closing the gap between what the software measures and what the owner sees when they look at their roof.

The brand system reinforces that trust at every touchpoint. Bold orange marks primary action zones without ever competing with the numbers they support. Neutral backgrounds carry dense readouts through weather widgets, energy tracking, and analysis reports. Icons stay geometric and consistent across the dashboard, mobile app, and social media presence, giving Lumos the coherence enterprise buyers expect from platforms that intend to survive their first funding round.
Underneath the interface, the design system was built for expansion rather than for the current feature set. As battery storage, EV integration, and grid participation move from novelty into mass-market reality, Lumos already holds the visual and interaction language to absorb those additions without redesigning around them. That scalability is the real differentiator inside a category where most alternative energy tools are still built for the products of five years ago.
Logo Design
The Lumos - Energy Panel Branding SaaS Dashboard project logo uses a bold, minimal, and geometric mark to create a strong brand identity. The design features three parallel diagonal white bars placed on a vibrant orange background, forming a stylized “M” shape. The angled composition conveys a sense of forward movement, energy, and innovation, aligning with Lumos’ focus on alternative energy.
Its clean, modern style makes it highly adaptable for digital platforms, from app icons to web applications, without losing impact or readability.
Landing page
The Lumos solar panels management dashboard delivers a clean, minimal design that highlights renewable energy insights. A soft background with bold data points ensures readability and quick decision-making.
Key metrics, current power, balance, earnings, and CO₂ savings, are paired with a 3D home model, linking real-world use with system performance. Card layouts, weather widgets, and toggles make interaction simple, while the top navigation organizes tools into Analysis, Overview, Energy, and Reports.
Icons Design
The Lumos - Energy Panel Branding SaaS Dashboard ui / ux interface incorporates a set of clean, minimal icons designed for intuitive navigation and user clarity. Each icon uses simple geometric shapes with rounded edges, ensuring consistency with the brand’s modern aesthetic.
The icons balance neutral tones (black and gray) with accent highlights in orange and yellow, reinforcing the brand’s energy-focused theme. Together, these icons cover essential functions while maintaining visual harmony within the digital system.
Tone of Voice
The Lumos tone of voice is designed to make clean energy communication modern, approachable, and trustworthy. Positioned between light-hearted and serious, it balances professionalism with a human touch, ensuring messages feel clear without being overwhelming.
Metrics show a tone that is slightly funny but never irreverent, matter-of-fact yet accessible, and respectful without being rigid. This creates consistency across dashboards, campaigns, and product messaging.
Our voice is clear yet human, informative but never overwhelming, professional but approachable. We aim to make clean energy feel modern, trustworthy, and easy to understand.
