About the project

Spectra360 is a digital platform that enables technicians to track, assign and manage engineering tasks in a highly visual and intuitive way.

Behind that visual promise sits a specific industrial reality. A technician spots an equipment fault at 9:14 AM. The site supervisor learns about it at 9:22 AM through a text message. The operations manager finds out at 9:37 AM when the daily report comes in. By then the fault has cascaded into three other systems, and nobody in the plant can trace exactly when or where the chain reaction started. Spectra360 was designed to collapse that timeline into a single interface event.

The build spans a technical issue management SaaS across desktop and mobile, with real-time status updates carrying the same information to every stakeholder simultaneously. Field technicians log issues where they encounter them. Operations managers see the log the moment it happens. Engineering teams pick up assignments through structured handoffs rather than the ad-hoc text threads that most industrial teams rely on. Every screen reduces the space between detection and resolution, because that space is where operational losses accumulate.

Engineering task management runs on visual clarity above all else. Task status, assignment ownership, and resolution progress live inside interactive dashboards designed for the specific cognitive load of industrial work, where distraction has real safety consequences. Lufga typography carries dense operational data without competing for attention, and selective color accents mark system states rather than decorate them.

Underneath the interface, the industrial SaaS platform architecture supports teams of any scale, from ten-person maintenance crews through multi-site manufacturing operations. That scalability isn't a marketing claim in this case, it's a design specification, because industrial teams grow through acquisition and mergers rather than gradual staffing, and the platform has to hold up when a team doubles overnight. Spectra360 was built for that reality.

      Problem & Solutions

      Barriers to effective workflow

      • Technical teams struggled with slow communication, scattered tools, and unclear task flows – leading to delays and missed issues. Some tools weren’t suited for mobile usage on the field. Inconsistent tracking caused miscommunication across remote and in-office teams.

      • Our goal wasn’t just a redesign – we aimed to remove friction and make every action intuitive.

      Typography & Colors

      Visual consistency across UI

      • For Spectra360 - Saas example, we chose the Lufga typeface due to its balance between readability and neutrality suitable for industrial SaaS tools. It supports user focus in data-heavy environments without overwhelming the layout.

Crayola-based color accents were used selectively to indicate system states and user action areas. We applied a soft light gradient to reinforce depth and clarity without visual clutter. The choices align with the system’s visual clarity goals and contribute to a consistent graphic design framework.
