MineralSoft — Oil & Gas Operations Dashboard UI
We need a centralized ecosystem that transforms raw data into clear insights, enabling managers to track extraction efficiency without the clutter.
Chief Operations Officer
About the project
MineralSoft is the operating system for high-stakes extraction. It pulls scattered geological and financial data into one place, then turns it into decisions managers can act on. The platform was built for offshore reality. Real-time monitoring, asset-level detail, and zero tolerance for visual noise. We set out to make complex oil and gas operations feel controlled.

Strategic Plan
Designing Control Under Pressure
The plan started with a single principle. Clarity in high-risk environments. We mapped the bottlenecks, fragmented data flows, and slow decision cycles, then rethought how mission-critical information should be structured and ranked. This was a digital transformation of an industry still running on disconnected legacy tools.
Critical latency risks in offshore operations prompted prioritizing instant anomaly detection to ensure asset integrity and safety.
Mari S.COO
Siloed geological data issues led us to architect a unified analytical ecosystem integrating financial KPIs with real-time extraction metrics.
Stan D.CIO
Complex multi-site coordination challenges led us to engineer a centralized command hub for seamless global asset monitoring.

Insights from the Field
What Operators Told Us
A mission-critical dashboard cannot run on assumptions. We gathered structured feedback from drilling engineers and field operators to find the real friction in daily offshore work. A focused ux audit of the old system backed up what they reported.
Key highlights from the interview
78% - of Drilling Engineers
Struggle to correlate geological data with real-time financial metrics due to the use of multiple disconnected legacy systems.
6/10 - Field Operators
Lack access to live platform status while inspecting offshore hardware, leading to delayed anomaly reporting.
45min - Average Delay
In critical decision-making processes. Stakeholders lose valuable time waiting for manual reports instead of acting on real-time intelligence.

Problem & Solution
Turning Friction into Flow
The existing software was robust but visually obsolete. New engineers faced a steep learning curve, and operators carried real cognitive load in high-pressure moments. Mission ownership was unclear and updates came in fragments. In an offshore setting, that costs time and trust. We rebuilt the control architecture around how information actually flows on a rig.
Solutions
01 – Interactive Asset Mapping
We replaced static tables with an interactive map. Stakeholders can now visualize financial ROI directly on physical assets in real-time.
02 – Actionable Data Insights
We organized high-density data into clear, actionable widgets. This reduces cognitive load and highlights critical metrics instantly.

Dashboard
One View of Every Asset
The dashboard is the heart of MineralSoft. An interactive map of the Gulf of Mexico lets managers drill from a whole field down to a single Spar Truss Structure, with depth, uptime, and daily output one tap away. Investment value and market value sit beside output rate, flaring, and water cut, so the money and the machinery finally read as one story. A clean information architecture ux keeps hundreds of data points navigable. My Units and My Hubs split the workspace into what an operator owns and what they oversee. Live production charts track barrels mined through the day without ever crowding the screen.
Mobile App
Control That Travels to the Rig
Field crews rarely sit at a desk. The mobile app delivers mission-critical visibility from anywhere, built to distill the desktop rather than copy it. Speed, situational awareness, and decisive action come first.
Key Features

Typography
Decision-Making
The interface runs on Urbanist across Light, Regular, and Medium weights. It reads as industrial, precise, and analytical, which is exactly how the platform needs to feel. Every weight and size earns its place in high-stakes situations. Titles set at 64px Medium, subtitles step down through 32px and 24px, and the hierarchy holds whether the screen shows a field name or a dense table of well metrics.

Colors
Engineered Contrast
Color works as a tool here, not decoration. A chromatic hierarchy separates financial KPIs from geological metrics, so the eye always knows what it is reading. Gallery White (#F0EFEE) and Light Black (#2E2E2E) form the calm, low-strain base for long monitoring sessions. Super Orange (#FE5E0E) drives emphasis and alerts. Vibrant Blue (#011DFC) marks a second data class. Nothing competes, and nothing gets lost.

Architecting the First Impression
The landing page is the first proof of enterprise-grade reliability. It opens on a single claim, Total Control Over Complex Assets, and backs it with hard numbers. Over $7.2B in monitored asset value, 99.9% uptime, sub-second data latency. The page is built around mission flow, moving from real-time monitoring to mobile control so visitors grasp the depth of the product fast. It frames MineralSoft as one operating system for high-stakes environments and closes with a clear challenge. Let's rethink extraction.

Next Step Strategy
From Dashboard to Industrial Standard
The core system is built and validated. The next phase carries that digital precision into the physical world. We are packaging the brand identity so MineralSoft reads as an elite industrial presence, not just a screen. From there the platform scales toward an enterprise-ready ecosystem, with proactive alerts and deeper intelligence layered onto the foundation operators already trust.
Fantastic work so far! Next, we'll focus on localizing the app for multiple languages and regions.
