Problem and solution
Construction teams struggled with disconnected updates and scattered documentation. Tectra - Construction SaaS project managers needed a way to view task progress in real time, while field teams required a unified space for notes and specs. Tectra simplified team coordination with real-time insights and mobile-first UX.
Problem
Fragmented data, slow task flow, and lack of real-time updates hindered productivity and caused project delays.
Solution
Real-time project updates, simplified task management, and centralized notes. These changes improved issue resolution speed and lowered the project delay rate.
Mobile app
Tectra - Construction SaaS exampIe supports mobile-first access with responsive design, allowing users to check updates and complete tasks directly on-site. The interface adapts seamlessly across smartphones, tablets, and desktops. This flexibility increased cross-device retention and decreased user churn.

Cut and Fill Management
Here, users can view data on material cuts and fills, along with key indicators such as volume. The progress bar shows task completion.
Typography and Color
We used Outfit for its professional tone and clarity across interfaces. The font supports readability across different lighting conditions and environments typical in construction sites. It aligns with Tectra’s goal to prioritize function while maintaining a clean user experience.
We decided to use a modern, minimalistic color palette that combines calming blues, energetic yellows, and sleek neutrals to highlight important data and guide the user’s attention effectively.
