Premium Water Right to Your Door

  • BrioWT provides water coolers for at-home or in-office use. The company also carries a strong water filtration system variety, providing options for their users to install for better, cleaner water.

  • โ€

Brio believe their water should be 1) accessible and 2) premium quality.

Reaching out for Expertise

  • Brio reached out to us at a critical juncture in their digital transformation, seeking to pivot from traditional hardware manufacturing toward a tech-driven, premium market positioning.

Their primary challenge lay in a fragmented user experience across their ecosystem; while their physical water filtration hardware was high-quality, the existing UI/UI design was visually "top-heavy," unintuitive, and failed to reflect a high-end brand identity.

  • โ€

They were struggling with interface limitations that hampered user trust and brand loyalty, specifically regarding how customers monitored filter life and managed maintenance.

  • Their legacy systems relied on manual phone communication, creating a friction-filled user journey that lacked modern digital touchpoints. Brio needed to solve these usability gaps by replacing "clunky" layouts with a sophisticated, mobile-first ecosystem and a high-fidelity hardware interface for their smart units.

Their goal was to move away from generic, button-operated systems toward an IoT-integrated interface that featured data visualization, seamless onboarding, and an aesthetic "dear-and-rich" visual language capable of justifying a certain price point in a highly competitive landscape.

What the Design Process Brought

  • To solve this, we did a full design overhaul, starting with a mobile-first application that connects the whole Brio system. We replaced manual phone calls with an easy-to-use IoT-integrated dashboard where users can track water quality and order new filters.

For the hardware, we designed a custom HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for their smart coolers, moving from basic layouts to a premium dark-themed UI with realistic images.

We also built a B2B partner dashboard that turns complicated data into simple infographics for their dealers.

  • โ€

By creating a consistent design system, we made sure the mobile app, the website, and the cooler screens all worked together to provide a high-quality brand experience.

Main Changes

  • By replacing outdated, manual processes with an IoT-integrated ecosystem, we enabled real-time monitoring and seamless filter management through a high-performance mobile-first application.

We also upgraded their hardware from basic buttons to a high-end HMI interface, using a dark-themed UI and data visualization to create a luxury feel. Finally, we launched a B2B partner dashboard that turned complex data into clear infographics, ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience across every digital touchpoint.
