The honor to build a product from ground up

• Whenever we get a chance to work on a project that is either a creation of a new product or a complete redesign, it is always a tedious process. Building the product from its brand identity to the web and mobile versions of the app, we can easily integrate the essence of RemodelyPlus in UI UX design.

Complexity Overload

• Overloaded, confusing contract management and payment processing systems create frustration, reduce productivity, and lead to costly errors and compliance risk. Freelancers and companies want ideal talent matching, a fast onboarding experience, and a quick project start, but many existing freelancer platforms and contractor payment solutions are overcomplicated—with too many steps in invoicing, billing, and payouts.

User Engagement

• Existing platforms aren’t designed for remote work and hybrid work workflows, and they fail to deliver an engaging user experience, decreasing customer satisfaction, user retention, and long-term growth potential for both freelancers and companies.

Financial (In)efficiency

• Companies and freelancers are often forced to rely on staffing agencies, third-party recruiters, and other intermediaries that charge huge placement fees and high commissions, adding cost, friction, and delays to what should be a direct, transparent hiring process.

• Keeps contracts and payments simple and fast

  with streamlined contract management, frictionless approvals, and transparent, secure payment processing.

• Enables users to build full teams and run a virtual office

  not just hiring - through team management tools like KPI tracking, revenue and income reporting, workload and utilization dashboards, and role-based oversight for distributed teams.

• Adapts to each user type with a personalized, role-based experience

  whether the user is a freelancer, a team lead/manager, or a company hiring multiple specialists at once—supporting multi-role workspaces, tailored dashboards, and context-aware navigation.

To make an interface that stands out

• The biggest challenge is combining CRM functionality, a talent marketplace (job board / freelancer marketplace), and a collaborative work platform into one clean, modern, lightweight UI that feels simple and uncluttered while still supporting powerful workflows.

Strategic Improvements

• Our team approached the redesign from various standpoints. First, we integrated a flexible and unique design that appeals to RemodelyPlus’ audience, whi are mostly representatives of Gen Z and the Millennials, who work from home and need an adaptive digital environment. Secondly, we looked at the companies who were hiring and their needs - most of them wanted to have an option to track their employees’ performance, which we made possible by creating said interface.

What RemodelyPlus Became

• Investment success: A visually polished concept, including brand identity, app prototypes, and clear growth metrics, played a key role in the negotiations. Investors didn’t just see an idea; they saw a product that was ready for development, with a transparent business model, predictable unit economics, and a clear path to scale.
  
  One-of-a-kind product: unlike competitors, the platform combines a job and talent marketplace (finding work and hiring specialists), team formation, a virtual office for distributed teams, and income analytics in one seamless experience. None of the existing solutions offers such a native, end-to-end workflow for remote work.

Personal Outtakes

• We realized that personalization means much more than a regular dark theme or an advanced animation can grasp. Personalization done correctly serves to ease the user’s mind, help them be more consistent, guide them through their journey, and be a helping mechanism that improves lives by making the smallest changes.
