Our lives are filled with information that overflows and overpowers our own thoughts. With the introduction of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI chatbots, the approach to research adn information gathering was completely rethought. Industry giants in media and entertainment took upon the idea of creating their own variants of chatbots to keep up with the market.
This client has been one of the first contenders for the sweet spot in AI chatbot domination.
In this project, we worked on an AI plugin that was able to work as an independent product itself.

Great chatbot UX balances speed and clarity with the flexibility of natural language, so users always know what the bot understood and what will happen next. Because AI can be probabilistic, the interface must reduce ambiguity, prevent mistakes, and make corrections feel effortless.
The best chat experiences guide users subtly while still feeling human, responsive, and context-aware.

Message layout & readability
Scannable typography, spacing, and formatting (headings, bullets, code blocks) so long answers are easy to scan.
Conversation structure
Clear visual separation of user vs assistant, grouping by topic, and subtle cues (time, sections) to maintain orientation.
Feedback & correction UI
Easy edit/redo/regenerate affordances, inline โthis is wrongโ feedback, and low-friction ways to refine output without restarting.
Our main focus has been on developing an intuitive user interface that provides ease of interaction. Our approach has been deeply rooted in understanding the usersโ needs, preferences, and behaviors. We prioritized simplicity and clarity in design, aiming for a clean and uncluttered layout that facilitates easy navigation and control.

For an industry giant, it is important to launch a reputable product. This was close to impossible back in times when AI chatbots were a novelty and had to be constantly tested for usability.

Itโs a difficult process for plenty of reasons, like adoption rate, customer satisfaction, and possibly rejection rate increase. However, when done properly, it is an amazing opportunity to increase conversion rate, bring new customers in and resolve issues within the product. By integrating the AI chatbot designed by us, the company widened their reach and broadened their audience, along with improving a list of vital product metrics.
