UIKit & Components Library Design

One System, Every Screen
Without a shared kit, every new screen reopens settled questions. Which blue, which button, which spacing. A proper UI kit answers them once. Designers assemble faster, developers stop rebuilding the same card, and the product stays consistent as the team grows.

Levitate
Our main focus has been on developing an intuitive user interface that provides ease of interaction. Our approach has been deeply rooted in understanding the users’ needs, preferences, and behaviors. We prioritized simplicity and clarity in design, aiming for a clean and uncluttered layout that facilitates easy navigation and control.

How We Build a UI Kit System
Seven stages take your interface from audit to a maintained component library. Foundations come before components, and components before patterns, so nothing is built twice. You review each stage before the next begins.

UI Audit
We collect every screen and catalog the interface as it stands today: colors in use, type styles, spacing, every button and input variant.
Duplicates and inconsistencies get flagged against a single reference. The audit shows exactly how much drift exists and sets the scope for the kit.
Design Tokens
The kit’s base layer comes first. We define color styles, a type scale, a spacing and grid system, and effect styles such as shadows and radii.
Set as tokens, these values flow into every component downstream, so a single change updates the whole system.
Elements
With foundations fixed, we build the atomic ui kit elements: buttons, inputs, selects, checkboxes, cards, tags and navigation.
Each is a named, reusable component tied to the tokens, not a one-off drawing. This is the layer that makes assembly fast.
States and Variants
A button is not finished until every condition exists. We build hover, active, focus, disabled, loading and error states, plus size and style variants, using component properties so one element covers every case.

UI+
Core elements compose into larger patterns: forms, tables, modals, filters, empty states and dashboard ui kit cards.
Built from parts that already exist, these stay consistent automatically and give designers whole sections to drop in rather than rebuild.
Assets
A matched icon set and shared assets round out the kit. Icons are drawn on one grid at consistent weight, sized to the type scale and delivered as components, so they swap and recolor like any other part of the system.

Handoff
The library gets organized for real use: clear naming, logical Figma structure, usage notes and variables.
Developers receive tokens, specs and a documented kit they can build from on day one, plus guidance on extending it.
Briefs We Solve Most Often
Shauna LakesCMO, Fashion Startup
We’d designed our main screens but needed a funding round, fast. The team turned those screens into a stable UI kit our developers could build the rest of the product from. We walked into the round with a working MVP, not a slide deck.

Robert JonesVP, Smart Tech Company
We were growing quickly and our interface was falling apart. Every feature looked like a different product. Rondesignlab built one component library that pulled it back together, and new screens now match without anyone policing them.

Greg MeyersfounderFounr
Contractors rotated through our product and each one guessed at how things worked. A documented design system fixed that. New people now read the library, understand the system in a day and ship work that fits.

FAQ
What’s a UI kit and a component library?
A UI kit is the visual starting point: styles, colors, type. A component library is those components built to be reused and maintained. We deliver the library, so the kit stays usable as the product grows.
Can you build a kit from our existing product?
Yes. We start with a UI audit of your current screens, keep what works, and rebuild the rest as reusable components without a full redesign.
What do we receive at the end?
A documented Figma library: design tokens, core and advanced components, icons, usage notes and developer-ready specs your team can build from immediately.
How long does a UI kit take?
Scope decides it. A focused kit can take as little as one sprint, a full design system for a large product takes longer. You get a timeline after the audit.
How is this different from your design system service?
A UI kit is the component layer. A full design system adds governance, contribution rules and cross-product scaling. We can start with the kit and grow it into a system.
