Levitate’s slogan is enough to explain their whole idea: “Levitate designs spaces to balance inner and outer experiences. These realms are created to illuminate self reflection and well-being.”
The application aims to provide users with comfort and ascension during meditative experiences. The calmness and steadiness are Levitate’s emotional drives.
We immediately knew what Levitate needed, and by the end of negotiations we knew that our visions aligned.

Levitate requested a brand-new VR experience that embodies simplicity, innovation, and immersive presence, while evoking a calm, focused feel. The interface should prioritize clarity and minimal visual noise, improve navigation, and make the tool’s key features and benefits easy to discover and understand. We broke down their big request into three main directions for us to move in:
Clarity-First Interface
Design a clean, intuitive interface with minimal clutter that reflects the AI tool’s effortless efficiency.
Benefit-Led Navigation
Communicate the benefits clearly and ensure seamless navigation, so users can find what they need fast.
Engaging Innovation
Create a fresh, engaging experience that showcases innovative features and keeps users coming back.
After building a beautiful and complex moodboard, having a thorough research, and simply talking to Levitate, we had all information needed to begin designing.
CX Designer
By researching VR interfaces and running a full discovery phase, we defined user personas, mapped the customer journey, and translated insights into user stories and a clear problem statement.
We also completed competitor discovery, validated product assumptions with a business model canvas, and designed the information architecture through detailed user flows.
To shape the solution, we led a feature brainstorm, produced wireframes, and documented key interactions in a flow map, which then informed the overall VR app concept and the final UI style, resulting in a VR experience that feels natural, intuitive, and immersive.
Through in-depth research into VR interfaces, we identified the key usability gaps and opportunities to improve the overall experience. Our goal was to design interactions that feel natural, intuitive, and truly native to the virtual environment—while still pushing what’s possible in VR without sacrificing clarity or comfort.
The main challenge was balancing immersion with ease of use, ensuring the product remains seamless and enjoyable even as functionality grows. In parallel, we focused on creating a distinctive, memorable visual identity and an experience compelling enough to bring users back.
For the meditation mobile application, we began with user interviews to ground the research in real needs and behaviors, then defined a clear mobile app concept and translated it into an actionable flow map of the core journeys.
Based on these insights, we scoped and delivered an MVP for the mobile app, focusing on the essential experience needed for launch. In parallel, we ran an AI features brainstorm and moved from ideas to implementation, integrating the most valuable AI-driven capabilities into the product while keeping the experience simple, calming, and easy to navigate.

Nature
Nature is known for being a safe and comforting space, so implementing such motifs adds onto the connection users have with the app through practices.
Portals
The “meditation portal” is a section of the application that holds many meditative practices for the users to explore. The idea of portraying meditation practices as portals is based in the feeling of stepping into the magical world - something meditation really makes yogis feel.
The final result made Levitate...levitate. It perfectly embodied their essence - the mix of celestial, magical atmosphere with the grounded, natural motif that grounds and calms.
